Gridline Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Scope of services

  • Ocean freight forwarding — governed by applicable bills of lading and maritime law
  • Air freight — subject to IATA conditions and the Warsaw/Montreal Convention
  • Ground and rail transport — governed by CMR and local transport regulations
  • Customs brokerage — performed as your authorized agent under applicable customs law
  • Contract logistics — governed by individual warehouse and fulfillment agreements
  • Pet travel — subject to IATA Live Animals Regulations and destination country requirements

Liability

Limitation of liability

Gridline Logistics liability is governed by international conventions and applicable local law.

Freight liability

Liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited to the amounts specified in the applicable international convention (e.g., Hague-Visby Rules for ocean, Montreal Convention for air). Additional cargo insurance is strongly recommended.

Consequential damages

Gridline Logistics shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data — regardless of the cause of action.

Force majeure

Gridline Logistics is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or carrier disruptions.

Customer responsibilities

To ensure smooth service delivery, customers are responsible for the following.

  • Providing accurate shipment information including weight, dimensions, and commodity descriptions
  • Ensuring all cargo complies with export/import regulations and is not prohibited or restricted
  • Obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and certificates for regulated goods
  • Properly packaging and labeling cargo according to transport requirements
  • Maintaining valid account credentials and not sharing login details
  • Paying invoices within agreed payment terms

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
